LM-4
Composition and shape
LM-4 Glacier Coolant is a modified diol-based solution formulated with key additives including corrosion inhibitors, mould inhibitors, solubilizers, and stabilizers. It appears as a light liquid with a pH range of 7–11, a boiling point of ≥150°C, and a flash point of 93°C (no flash). The product has a relative density of 1.105 (water = 1), a freezing point below -50°C, and is soluble in water.
Its active ingredient content is ≥90%. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to various metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum, and is classified as practically non-toxic and non-flammable under relevant standards.
The flash point of LM-4G glacier coolant is 120℃. The boiling point of LM-4G glacier coolant is higher than 140℃, and the freezing point is less than -50℃.
Usage and application
LM-4 Glacier Coolant is designed for use as an industrial refrigerant within a temperature range of -35°C to 150°C.It can be used alone according to process requirements or diluted with water, ethylene glycol, or other traditional refrigerants to an appropriate concentration.
It is widely applicable in cooling systems across various industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food storage, HVAC, blood products, ice and snow sports, beer and beverages, aviation research, and new energy.
The product is available in multiple packaging specifications such as 10L, 25L, and 200L buckets, 1000KG containers, and bulk tankers. Safe handling and storage require it to be kept in a cool, ventilated area away from oxidants and acids, with proper ventilation and protective equipment during operation.
